Jillian Golden
CO-DIRECTOR
“My name is Jillian Golden and I am a junior studying Entrepreneurship and Management at Merrimack College. I am from Toronto, Canada and play on the Women’s Soccer team. As a Co-Founder, Girls on Ice has given me the opportunity to become a role model for young girls. The program is aimed at empowering young girls through the combination of sport and facilitated discussion. It has been one of the best experiences I have been involved in and can’t wait to enter the second year of the program. It has been an honour to have had the privilege of working with student trained facilitators and the Women’s Hockey team to create a long lasting impact. I look forward to the future of Girls on Ice 2024”

Taya Marinaro
CO-DIRECTOR
“My name is Taya Marinaro and I am studying entrepreneurship and Corporate Finance in my Junior year of college! When I got the opportunity to be a part of a program as amazing as Girls On Ice, I knew how much of an impact truly could be made. I am so honored and excited to be someone young female athletes can look up to, just like the role models I had growing up in sports. It is my mission to help these young female athletes become confident in just how strong, brave, and inspiring they truly are. With the help of the D1 Merrimack Women’s Hockey team, I could not be more excited for Girls On Ice 2024 to begin!”
